NHNC environmental volunteer work
No Human No Cry in Portugal participated in a volunteer campaign of removing invasive plants from the banks of the Vouga River Beach promoted by EDP (Portuguese Energy Company) Foundation.

Italy, Italy!!! Vibo Valentia!!!
What can I say? I had the best five days of my life. The people,
the environment, the food, the beautiful landscapes that I saw, the friends I
made, the family that welcomed me ... It was all magnificent.
It is impossible to
describe the relationships that were established with all. People are
welcoming and lovable.
I liked everything. I can’t
specify because I really enjoyed everything. I particularly liked the walks and
the landscapes that I saw.
A big thank
you to everyone and especially to the family that welcomed me and the teachers
for this unforgettable experience.
Now I wait for you guys and hope you'll enjoy Sever do Vouga as much as I liked Italy, especially Vibo Valentia.

GOOD NEWS
In March, 2012, seven Iberian Lynx cubs were born to two adult females at the Iberian Lynx reproduction centre in Silves, Portugal.:))

BAD NEWS
Lonesome George, who was believed to be the LAST known living Pinta Island giant tortoise, was found dead by its caretaker on June 24. This subspecies of Galápagos tortoise was known as the rarest creature in the world. It has now become extinct.:(
